We’ve had many 2023 models arrive in our dealership, and they’re all fantastic. One model we have been especially enamored with is the new BMW X5. Find out what’s new and what’s remained the same with this SUV.
Subtle Changes
For the most part, there haven’t been many changes to the 2023 BMW X5. Both the Premium and Executive packages now include a wireless smartphone charging pad.
Also, the available leather upholstery and animal-free faux leather have been discontinued. They have now been replaced with Sensafin, which is vegan synthetic leather.
Desirable Features
The BMW X5 still offers many features you’ll love, including:
Outstanding Power
You can’t go wrong with any engine in the BMW X5. The base model comes with a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six configuration that produces 335 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque.
Top-of-the-line is a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 with 600 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque.
Excellent Comfort
You can get your BMW X5 with either two or three rows, and it will accommodate five to seven passengers.
The seats are very supportive and comfortable and come with the synthetic leather upholstery mentioned above. Heated front seats are standard as well, and extras include ventilated and massaging front seats, a heated steering wheel, and heated second-row seats.
The Latest Tech Features
Every BMW X5 is very well-equipped with tech, as it comes with:
- A 12.3-inch touchscreen
- HD and satellite radio
- Navigation
- Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™
- A 10-speaker stereo
- Keyless entry
- Push-button start
- 5 USB ports
- Bluetooth®
- Ambient interior lighting
Remote start, rear sunshades, and a 16- or 20-speaker stereo can be added as well.
