With the M50, you’ll get two electric motors and an 83.9-kWh battery that generate 536 horsepower and 586 lb-ft of torque. A one-speed transmission and rear-wheel drive are standard, and all-wheel drive is available. In addition to an excellent suspension system, the sporty BMW i4 handles beautifully.
Driving Range and Charging Time
While the BMW i4 M50 will let you go up to 245 miles on a full charge, with the eDrive40, that increases to 300 miles. As for charging, you will be able to get your battery fully juiced in about nine hours with a 240-volt household-style power outlet. You can get up an 80 percent charge in around 40 minutes using a public charging station.
