This summer, BMW has decided to capitalize on the enthusiasm of fans and potential owners by launching the "Drive for a Cause" charitable fundraising campaign around the country.  This campaign will support U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes, as well as giving each dealership the option of designating a local charity as a recipient.  Each BMW test drive taken this summer will create support for the designated cause, and there will be larger events throughout the summer to promote test drives to support the charities.

The event kicked off in May, and promises a fun summer for dealers and drivers alike.  Not only will every test drive taken through September support the team USA Olympic and Paralympic athletes, but if you come to your local BMW dealership for our Drive for a Cause event on July 29, you’ll be able to compare the competition to the best of our BMW luxury cars.  Baltimore, MD drivers can register for Drive for a Cause now, and not only get into their favorite BMW for a test drive, but contribute in a meaningful way to a charitable campaign while raising awareness for a great cause.  As Vice President of Marketing for BMW North America, Trudy Hardy, said "Any time you can get people behind the wheel of a BMW while simultaneously generating attention and raising money for worthy charities, it’s a win-win."

Here at BMW of Catonsville, we couldn't agree more.  If you've been dying to see the inside of the new BMW 7 Series, or coveting a new 3 Series model like the 2016 BMW 320i xDrive, now is the time to get behind the wheel of your dream car, and do some good while you're at it.  Visit any time this summer to Drive for a Cause, or ask about our event on July 29.
