Since BMW is the leading manufacturer of luxury vehicles in the world, it makes sense that they also would be one of the most valuable brands in the world, too. That fact recently was proven thanks in part to the 2015 BrandZ Top 100 Global Brands survey, which puts together financial data for every corporate brand in the industry, both in and outside of the auto world, and we here at BMW of Catonsville were pleased to see that BMW not only finished within that Top 100 but performed extremely well there.

With a value of 26.349 billion U.S. dollars, BMW is officially the most valuable luxury auto brand in the world right now. Even more promising is the fact that the automaker saw a 2% boost in value over the course of the last year, which is admirable considering that there were other brands on the list ahead of BMW that actually saw drops. In other words, things are trending in the right direction for now, which obviously can't be said for all automakers these days.

As for how BMW fits into the big picture on that Top 100, they finished 34th overall, but the corporate juggernauts ahead of them clearly are the types of heavy hitters that an automaker can only hope to catch. Google, Apple, Microsoft and IBM, for example, topped the charts, with other predictable businesses like Facebook, Coca-Cola, McDonald's and Disney also residing among the top twenty brands.

For BMW cars to make themselves comfortable amid those heavy hitters means that they are making the sort of headway we all hoped they'd make in the corporate landscape. We expect future gains moving forward with sights set on the Top 30 in 2016!
